Our Mission Statement:

Through the passionate undertaking of classical and contemporary works alike, we aim to produce fresh, youthful, ensemble-based live theatre experiences. We feel our community desperately deserves a new and affordable theatre outlet; we strive to deliver just that through effervescent and energetic offerings of “…the play”… Free of charge.

We strive to celebrate and reveal the vibrancy that is live theatre!

We produce fresh, youthful, ensemble-based theatre experiences. These include a passionate undertaking of classical works such as Shakespeare, as well as contemporary works.

We believe the play is a vessel, manned by actors, boldly sent out to cross the gap between training and the professional theatre world.

Our company also believes that the Portland audience, young and old, should have access to performance. People of all ages and walks of life have something to gain or learn by participating in or witnessing potent live theatre.   

We are not afraid of the concepts: “Theatre… Free of Charge”, “Ensemble-based Learning”, and “Bold Choices.”

We look forward to challenging our own company, our players and crew, and our audience. Theatre, as with any form of art, should not come easy. We welcome you to take this journey with us!
